Travel Snap Tuesday: Canada

I've decided to follow in my friend Donna's footsteps (you can find her here!) who is following in Ms Posy's footsteps, who is following in Little Miss Moi's footsteps and post a photo or photos of places I have travelled. I've been lucky enough to travel quite a few places over the years, both in Australia and overseas.

I'm going to start with Canada. In late December 2007, two of my friends Chris and Shaun and I spent 3 weeks travelling around the West Coast of Canada. Two other friends from High School were there too. They did their own thing, but the 5 of us spent a fair bit of time in the same places throughout the 3 weeks.

I'm going to start with a happy snap I took while we were at Whistler.

And finish this weeks Travel Snap Tuesday with a shot I took at Big White. I love this photo so much. The boys are the two friends I travelled with.

I look forward to sharing some more happy travel snaps in the following weeks.

xx love Breanna

  1. Dear Breanna. Thanks for Travel Snapping this Tuesday! I love Canada - I went in the summer of 2002 and we hiked through the mountains then went to enjoy the steamy summer in Quebec, Montreal and Toronto. I loved it - never saw the winter delights though! The trees look like a fairytale!

  2. The snow on the trees certainly is magical. We are still learning to snowboard and haven't ventured out to Whistler or Big White but even the slopes closer to home like Mt Seymour and Grousse have plenty of snow and slopes for little me!

  3. I loved my time in Canada so much! I am very much a snow bunny at heart, despite being born and bred in Brisbane. I would love to see it in summer, but having traveled to Japan in 2009 during autumn and not being there to ski, I can't see myself traveling anywhere with awesome snow during summer again!
