Travel Snap Tuesday: Atlanta

So, I'm bringing back Travel Snap Tuesday!! Basically I am just looking for an excuse to share some my adventures from my six months in the US of A!

For those who don't know, or don't remember, Travel Snap Tuesday is the brainchild of Little Miss Moi and is about sharing a moment in time through a photo (or three).

I was lucky enough to spend 2 months living in Atlanta with S, T and their darling daughter M in late October/November/early December last year. S is the daughter of our neighbours and they so graciously let me live with them for awhile, while I was waiting to hear about a job. I had such a lovely time staying with them and M is so incredibly cute (I love kids - super clucky!!).

While I was there I experienced some amazing things, including:

  • the best southern style BBQ EVER!
  • my first live NFL game;
  • a live college football match between fierce rivals the University of Georgia and Georgia Tech; and
  • my first thanksgiving - whole deep fried turkey and all.
Here are a couple of photos from my time in Atlanta:

Centennial Olympic Park - Home of the 1996 Atlanta Olympics

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Marching Band pre-game V UGA Bulldogs

Atlanta Falcons (NFL) players entrance - the "big names" get their own personal
announcement and entrance - this was Tony Gonzalez coming out onto the field!

I had such a great time in Atlanta. Thanks so much to S, T and M for having me, showing me around and making me feel at home.

xx love Breanna
